St Andrew’s is a warm and homely nursing and care home for the elderly based in the village of Ewerby, just a few miles east of Sleaford in Lincolnshire

We provide nursing care and all levels of residential care for the elderly and those living with dementia. We also offer respite care for elderly people.

We are located a few miles east of the town of Sleaford, in the centre of the picturesque village of Ewerby. Having originally been a vicarage the property retains many beautiful features while also having been selectively extended and modernised to offer a high standard of living to all our residents. Our friendly and experienced team deliver superior quality residential care to our elderly occupants – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To see more details about our elegant accommodation, check out St Andrew’s Care Home Features.

As an independent care home, we accommodate privately funded and socially funded elderly residents. All our residents are respectfully looked after, with specific attention to their individual care needs.  To learn more about funding an elderly care home stay, take a look at our Residential Care Home Fees.

Our passion has always been to provide Nursing Care, and all levels of Residential and Dementia care of the very highest quality. We offer comfort and friendship within a homely atmosphere while respecting and being sensitive to the individual needs, wishes and choices of our elderly residents. Our door is always open and we welcome all residents, their families and friends, who wish to be involved in making the home an even better place to live. Warm and Comforting

We are completely dedicated to providing a safe, warm and comforting environment for all our residents. We recognise that entering a residential care home can be difficult for all concerned and we try to make the transition as easy as possible by offering any support we can. Our elderly residential care services ensure the moving in process is as smooth as possible.

Safe and Caring

The success of our home is based on our wonderful care team.  Thanks to them, we have a very happy home and happy residents.  All our residential care team members are highly trained with regular refresher training, training in the latest best practice, skills and knowledge.  We are also extremely proud to be leading the care industry with well over half our team having an NVQ (or equivalent) qualification and many more studying for one.  Our new team members receive thorough formal inductions and more personal support from their New Starter Champions.

We also consistently receive high ratings on the leading care home review site www.carehome.co.uk.  Click here to see all our reviews.

We value all feedback and particularly appreciate the reviews on www.carehome.co.uk as we know they go to great lengths to verify all reviews are genuine reviews.

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and their latest inspection rating with a link to their detailed report can be found below:

Lovely to see your faces 🥰

Kaye had enjoyed an afternoon walk in the countryside. She got to look at the alpaca on the local farm and explored the village.

Today we had two singers at St Andrews. Our residents really enjoyed listening to them and were playing along with instruments and dancing. A great afternoon.
