OUR TEAM
Home Manager
Our residential care home, with nursing is currently led by our experienced Home Manager, Catharine Gatland, who supports our qualified team of carers, kitchen and housekeeping team members.
Cat joined St Andrews in 2022 as a Team Leader before moving into the role of Deputy Manager. Cat became St Andrew’s Home Manager in 2023. Cat takes pride with understanding our residents needs, she leads by example by getting to know residents on admission and taking a role with formulating their care plans. No job is too big or small for Cat, you may find her covering any role in the home as she will always work in roles to meet the needs of our residents.
Our Team
The care home manager is supported by two deputy managers in order to ensure there is a member of the management team available every day of the week. We believe this is important for the well-being of our residents and the peace of mind of their relatives.
Our Home Managers are assisted by a qualified and experienced care team including specialist nurses. The residential care home team is dedicated to carrying out their duties 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They are committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of the residents who live at St Andrew’s.
Leadership Support Team
The St Andrew’s team are supported by the Leadership Support Team with further support from the Jasmine Support Hub team.
Compliance Support Manager
The Compliance Support Manager’s role is to continually drive high standards of care and compliance across the company by regularly performing audits at all our homes. Our twelve bespoke audits cover every aspect of the running a care home and are completed at least quarterly at every home. The Compliance Support Manager also produces the action plans to implement the required improvements identified by these audits. They are then responsible for signing these action plans off, but only when totally satisfied that the home managers and their teams have thoroughly completed them. They also track any complaints and safeguarding issues through to their full resolution, and produce our homes’ detailed monthly Jasmine Compliance Reports and Scores, which are used to closely monitor our homes.
People & Compliance Support Coordinator
The People and Compliance Support Coordinator’s focus is on Team Engagement, Development and Training. As part of Jasmine’s New Starter Programme, they work closely with each New Starter, their respective New Starter Champion and Home Manager to ensure each new member feels settled, happy and content in their new role and as a valued member of the team. They are also responsible for ensuring all team members’ mandatory training is current and up to date whilst supporting team members with their personal training and development. In addition to this the People and Compliance Support Coordinator provides support and advice to the homes to help them to achieve and maintain their best Jasmine Compliance Score and be ready for CQC and Local Authority Inspections.
